Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport, which started its operations as Tuzköy Airport in 1998, is the only port in Nevsehir. The airport is 30 km from the city center and 10 km from the town centre. Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport is a joint-use port of 3500 m², with a domestic and international terminal of annual capacity of 700.000 passengers, and the number of voyages increases especially in the summer months.
The airport also has a concrete runway of 3000 × 45 meters and a concrete apron of 240 × 120 with a capacity of 5 aircraft. Cappadocia Airport, operated by the General Directorate of State Airports, is an international port.
The port is heavily used by passengers who charter private jets, especially in the summer months.

History of Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport
The port, which was designed after the government of the period, which wanted to evaluate the tourism potential in Nevsehir Kapdokya, decided to build an airport in the region, and was put into service with the name Nevsehir – Tuzköy Airport on November 15, 1998. As published in the official gazette numbered 235556 and dated 17 December 1998, the name of the port was changed to Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport and announced as an international border gate.
The port experienced its last name change in 2015 and the airport name was changed to “Cappadocia Airport”. Cappadocia Airport has started to experience infrastructure problems, especially in the summer months, due to increased traffic. In the same year, a new tower and garage building were put into service to solve the problems. With the renovations made at the PAT sites in 2017, the port took its current form.

Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport transportation information
There is no municipal line that provides transportation from the airport to the city center and the surrounding districts. Vehicles of private companies departing from the port are used to reach the city center and districts.
Taxis, another means of transportation, provide 24/7 service outside the airport. Private car rental services are available at the airport, but these companies are more local than global companies and their number is not high.
Passengers who want to reach the city center with their private vehicle can reach the city center via the D765 and Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport Road.
