Kahramanmaras International Airport is a civilian airport located on the Gaziantep-Pazarcık ring road in Kahramanmaras, 5 km from the city center. Opened in 1996, the airport has a 22,300 m² terminal building and an apron with a capacity of 5 airplanes.
The airport was designated as a permanent air border gate open to international entry and exit by the Presidential decree published in the Official Gazette on 20.07.2019. The runway of the airport, which has an annual passenger capacity of 2 million, is 07/25 2300×45 and has a general parking area for 430 vehicles and a VIP parking area for 33 vehicles. The airport was renovated in 2019 after construction works started in 2016.
