Beechjet 400A
Beechjet 400A / Hawker 400A is a Light Jet manufactured by Beechcraft, with 7 seats and used for flights up to 3 hours with a range of 2185 km.
An improved model of the Beechjet 400 by Raytheon / Beech Aircraft Corporation, the Beechjet 400A has a longer range, more maximum take-off weight and many interior design innovations compared to its sister. With Pratt and Whitney Canada JT15D-5 engines, this aircraft can reach 848 km/h and cruise at higher operational altitudes compared to 400. While developing the Beechjet 400A, Raytheon did not neglect the crews, with Collins Pro Line 4 avionics and a new all-glass cockpit structure.
Beechjet 400A, which is generally used by private jet charter companies on domestic flights, has a cabin height of 1.47 m, a cabin width of 1.50 m, a larger cabin volume than the 400 and an average of 5 pieces of luggage capacity.
This aircraft, which is used for short-distance taxi flights, is also known as Hawker 400A in the aviation industry. The MU-300 series, whose rights were purchased by Beechcraft in 1985, was improved and started to be manufactured as the Beechjet 400. Developed by Raytheon / Beechcraft in 1990, this model started to be manufactured as Beechjet 400A with many innovations. In the following years, with the acquisition of Hawker from British Aerospace, one of the previous models of the 400XP series, Beechjet 400 was named as Hawker 400 and Beechjet 400A was named as Hawker 400A.
