Beechjet 400
Beechjet 400 / Hawker 400 is a Light Jet manufactured by Beechcraft, with 7 seats and used for flights up to 3 hours with a range of 2222 km.
Beechjet 400, an improved model of Mitsubishi MU-300 Diamond, is twin turbo fan jet controlled by two pilots, with an all-metal structure, using a supercritical airfoil aiming to minimize drag, and manufactured by Beech Aircraft Corporation.
Beechjet 400, which is frequently preferred for short-distance flights, has a cabin height of 1.47 m and a cabin width of 1.50 m. It is designed to meet the basic needs of passengers using air taxi flights with an average luggage capacity of 5-6 pieces. It can reach 854 km/h with two Pratt and Whitney Canada JT15D-5 jet engines. Some models also serve in ambulance configuration and are frequently used, especially in domestic flights.
The Beechjet 400 is also known as the Hawker 400 in the aviation industry. After 97 MU300s manufactured by Mitsubishi, Beechcraft, which acquired the rights of this series in 1985, developed and redesigned the aircraft and created the Beechjet 400 model. Another naming of the Beechjet 400 was the Hawker 400, along with the 400A and 400XP models that would be manufactured in the following years with the acquisition of Hawker from British Aerospace by Raytheon in the following years.
