Sinop Airport is an airport located near the city of Sinop in Bostancili and is operated by the State-owned DHMI. Sinop Airport is located 5 metres above sea level. Sinop Airport, which has the status of a civil airport, has been closed many times within the scope of modernisation works. Lastly, the airport was closed to air traffic in January 2013 and reopened to air traffic in February 2014. The airport does not have an international terminal and the domestic terminal is used for international flights.
