Batman Airport is an airport serving the province of Batman in eastern Turkey. It was opened in 1998. It is located approximately 7 kilometers from the city center.
The airport is equipped with a modern terminal building and has a total area of 20,741 square meters. The airport complex also includes a 1,120 square meter VIP building for private jet and diplomatic passengers, a 1,200 square meter fire station, a 120×162 meter apron, a 424×24 meter taxiway, a 13,000 square meter parking lot with a capacity of 350 vehicles. Batman Airport has been operated by DHMI General Directorate since August 30, 2010.

Line 12 buses of Batman Metropolitan Municipality can be preferred to reach the city center from the airport. Buses run at regular intervals every day of the week and carry passengers to important stops in the city center.
Alternatively, you can easily get to the city center using the taxis waiting at the entrance of the airport. It takes approximately 10 minutes to reach the city center by taxi. You can also rent a private car from the car rental companies at the airport to reach the city center or the surrounding provinces and districts.
