Agri Ahmed-i Hani Private Jet Charter

Agri Airport has continuously developed since its inauguration on January 8, 1997. Within the scope of a project initiated in 2009, the runway, taxiways and apron were expanded. As part of this project, the size of the runway was increased from 2000×30 m to 3000×45 m and the apron capacity from 2 (narrow-body) to 5 aircraft. In addition, the area covered by the airport was expanded from 950,000 m² to 2,340,000 m². With the completion of these improvements, Agri Airport reopened to air traffic in January 2011.

Opened on May 06, 2015, the new terminal building is built on 4 floors and 6200 m² area. This modern terminal building aims to increase the capacity of Agri Ahmed-i Hani Airport to 3,000,000 passengers/year and provide better quality service to more passengers. Turkish Airlines and private jet charter are also organized to this airport. Its runway is 3000 meters long and 45 meters wide and is equipped with navigational aids such as CAT I ILS/DME IARI 16, VOR, NDB and DME ARI.

In July 2015, Agri Airport was renamed Agri Ahmed-i Hani Airport.

The distance of 8.3 kilometers between Agri Ahmed-i Hani Airport and Agri city center can be covered in just 10 minutes. There are options such as Airport Taxi, municipal buses, transfers and private vehicles for transportation.

Agri Municipality buses operate reciprocal services between the airport and the city center, while transfer vehicles at the airport provide transportation to Patnos and Doğubeyazıt districts. You can also use the taxis at the airport to reach the city center. With taxis, you can reach the city center in 10 minutes and have a comfortable and fast journey.
