The Cessna 525 Citation M2 is a business jet manufactured by Cessna, positioned between the CJ1+ and CJ2 models. Planned for comfort, simplicity and practicality, the Citation M2 is equipped with specially designed seats and LED lighting. Having a completely new cabin design, the M2 has a cabin width of 1.47 m and a cabin height of 1.45 m.
M2, which has a luggage capacity of approximately 4 pieces and can carry up to 6 passengers, is powered by Williams FJ44-1AP-21 turbofan engines. Capable of reaching a speed of 748 km/h, the Citation 525 M2 is one of the practical models preferred for short distance flights. In this model, Garmin G3000 is preferred instead of Rockwell Collins Pro as the avionics package.
Offering a more comfortable cabin, faster climbing time, top speed and range compared to the CJ1+, the M2 has become Cessna’s current entry-level jet after the Mustang ceased production in 2017. M2, which can stay in the air for 2 hours and 45 minutes in current models, can cover a distance of 2130 km.
