Cessna Citation III
Citation III is a Midsize Jet manufactured by Cessna, with 7-9 seats and used for flights up to 4 hours with a range of 2693 km.
The Cessna 650 Citation III, which successfully balances cost, performance and comfort, is the aircraft which was the first step of Cessna into the midsize jet market. With a cabin height of 1.73 m and a cabin width of 1.70 m, the special ceiling lighting and window design provide bright and indirect lighting, giving the cabin a spacious feel. Cessna Citation III, which also has a full galley and an enclosed rear toilet, has a luggage capacity of approximately 8-9 pieces by increasing of the luggage volume.
Powered by a newly designed fuselage, swept supercritical wings, T-tail and Honeywell Engines TFE 731-3B turbofan engines, this model can reach speeds of up to 861 km/h.
If a problem is encountered regarding the pressure in the cabin at high altitudes, this jet, which also added a new safety feature in its period, can safely descend from 16.000 m to 4.300 m with a 25° bank in 3 minutes by opening the autopilot spoilers.
Citation III, the first version of the Citation VI and Citation VII, which were produced later and are the continuation of the 650 series, made its first flight in 1979.
