Bombardier Global Express
Global Express is a Long Range Jet manufactured by Bombardier, with 10-16 seats and used for flights up to 11,5 hours with a range of 10927 km.
The first aircraft in the Global series, the Bombardier Global Express is a twin-engine corporate ultra long range jet. The range of Global Express, which is planned to fly long distances at high speed, is designed to fly non-stop between intercontinental destinations so that it can fly between any two points in the world and needs maximum of one refueling stop if needed.
Global Express, the business jet with the largest cabin in its period until it was replaced by the Gulfstream G650, has a cabin height of 1.91 m and a cabin width of 2.49 m. Designed for long distance flights, this jet has 3 cabin sections, 2 toilets (one for crew use), crew resting seats and 2 galleys, and the luggage compartment can hold approximately 20 pieces of baggage. Although the cabin sections are customizable, there are usually four club-style seats, a triple sofa, and two single-seats on the opposite, and a six-seat conference section. In the Global Express model, the floor was lowered by 51 mm compared to the Challenger, while the windows were enlarged by 25%. The semi-monocoque body made of lightweight aluminum alloy and composite materials can withstand up to 14 hours at 51.000 ft.
Bombardier Global Express, which has 2 FADEC-controlled BMW-Rolls Royce production BR 710-A2-20 engines, can reach a maximum speed of 946 km per hour. On the flight deck, it is powered by the six-screen Honeywell Primus 2000 XP EFIS avionics package.
Along with the Global Express XRS, Global 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500 and Global 7500 produced after it, the entire Global series is one of the most used series in the world for long distance flights.
