The Global 5500 is an ultra-long range business jet designed entirely for passenger comfort in long distance flights with its spacious cabin, special interior design, powerful engines and wing technology. Having one of the largest cabins in its class, the Global 5500 has a cabin height of 1.88 m and a cabin width of 2.41 m. It includes a full galley and closed lavatory area, an office area with specially designed Nuage seats, a conference room, a large wardrobe for the passengers and crew and a specially soundproofed relaxation area. 4K displays and entertainment systems, Bombardier Ka-band high-speed internet connection, Pur Air ventilation and purification system are just some of the features that maximize flight comfort.
The jet, which has a luggage capacity of approximately 20-25 pieces, has the means to access the luggage compartment from inside the aircraft. Convenient features, such as concealable side tables, in-seat storage areas with quick access, height-adjustable table, etc., are among the prominent features of the 5000.
One of Bombardier’s fastest business jets, the 5500 is powered by 2 Rolls-Royce Pearl 15 engines and can reach a maximum speed of 946 km/h. The Combined Vision System (CVS), which is a combination of SVS and EVS systems in the cockpit, provides a very clear vision and awareness to the pilots even in the most difficult weather conditions, while reducing the workload to the maximum.
