History of Hatay Airport

Hatay Airport, which was opened on December 9, 2007, provided only domestic flights when it was opened. On September 4, 2008, flights to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus were organized for the first time and new flight schedules were added every day.

Hatay Airport, which won the title of International Air Border Gate on June 20, 2008, gained a new domestic and international terminal building on June 8, 2011.

Transportation From Hatay Airport to the city center

Buses, minibuses or taxis are generally used to reach the city center. There are HAVAŞ shuttles at the airport according to the landing and departure times of the planes, and the shuttles depart 25 minutes after the planes land.

Hatay Airport Taxis provide 24-hour service in front of the passenger exits of the Domestic Terminal and International Terminal. There are also private car rental companies at the port exit. There are also minibuses going to the city center via the road, again at the port exit.
