Gaziantep Oguzeli Airport is an international airport located within the boundaries of the Oguzeli district, 20 km southeast of the city of Gaziantep. The port, which serves 6 million passengers a year, started its service in 1976 and was used for domestic flights. 13 years after the opening of the port, with the newly built terminal building in 2006, it started international flights as well.
There are two runways at Gaziantep Airport, and one of the runways is used for landing in emergencies, apart from being used as a taxiway. The port, which has an apron area where a total of 10 aircraft can park, is frequently used by companies providing private jet charter services due to its location in the region.

History of Gaziantep Oguzeli Airport history from 1976 to the present
Oguzeli Airport, which was established in the province of Antep in 1976, as it was then called, consisted of 1 runway and 1 terminal building. With the acceleration in the development of the industry in the 1980s, the importance of the port increased and a series of renovation works were carried out.
In 1993, the airport also started service for international flights. Due to the renovation works in 1998, the airport was closed and after the completion of the works, it started to serve again in 2006 with a new domestic and international terminal building.
Oguzeli Airport, which has the Green Airport certificate, has increased the number of passengers from 2 million annually to 6 million, thanks to the new terminal building, the construction of which was completed in 2021.

Transportation from the Gaziantep Oguzeli Airport to the city center
There are different options for transportation to the airport, which is 20 km away from the city center. The easiest way is to use Havaş and municipal buses. Havaş buses depart according to the plane landing times, 25 minutes after landing.
Apart from Havaş buses, the municipal buses serve 24 hours a day and it is possible to go to 2 separate routes of the city with these buses. Buses depart from the airport hourly. Municipal buses pass through Karataş, Üniversite, Ordu Caddesi and Büyükşehir Belediye stops as the first route. Otogar, Balıklı, Hasan Kalyoncu Üniversitesi stops are used as the second route.
Passengers who want to go by taxi can use the taxis available outside the port and these taxis are waiting outside the port for 24 hours. The companies that provide car rental services such as Avis, Hertz, Sixt, Acarsan, National Car Rental, which have offices in the airport, are another alternative.
Passengers who want to travel by private vehicles can reach the city center in approximately 17 minutes by using the Gaziantep Airport Road.
